This presentation will show you how our one on one mentor program can work for you. You will get to visit one of our DPR Realty locations and hear from Mariesa, the Director of Career Agent Academy, the Mentors, students currently in the program of graduates and you can meet the Broker.  This presentation will touch on the following topics:

This program will help inexperienced agents gain the experience and confidence they need to become a successful agent in the valley. This program has a road map to success that includes the following:

  • Help and direction with getting established in the first 10 days

Meet the Coaches

Mariesa Arthur

Director of Career Agent Division

Mariesa started out in Real Estate over twenty years ago with a focus on residential sales which included resale homes, new builds, and luxury home sales. Starting the business as a single mom, she faced many, if not more, of the challenges and obstacles that the new and veteran real estate agents face today.

Generous with the knowledge she has acquired as a successful agent and a “go to” person wherever she has worked, Mariesa wanted to share what she had learned over the years with new and veteran agents. She joined a large Valley real estate firm’s Mentor Program, as a Mentor to the new agents just starting out in Real Estate. She quickly realized that in order to provide her growing group of agents with the level of support that they needed, that mentoring would be a career choice requiring 100% of her time and attention. From that point she created an extensive training curriculum to provide a clear path to success in both listing and sales of residential properties.

In September of 2002, seeing the success of the program Mariesa had created, that same real estate firm hired her to head up and implement a structured training program as the Director of what’s now called the Career Agent Division. Her role as the Director is to recruit, inspire, train, to manage new agents, veteran team members, along with the team of Field Coaches and her support staff. Her goal with the Career Agent Division is to provide a productive, supportive environment to help agents develop at a rapid pace and to help them experience success. This flies in the face of the statistically vast number of REALTORS that fail in this industry.

With a strong need to align herself with a solid, well run and reputable real estate company, Mariesa joined DPR Realty in January of 2009, bringing the Career Agent Division with her.
Over the years well over 700 agents have come through the Career Agent Division. Mariesa takes pride in saying, “For me, there’s nothing more rewarding and gratifying than to know that I made an impact in an agent’s successful career in Real Estate. I like to refer to our program as The Shortcut to Success!”

Coaches / Mentors

Carol Lewis

Carol Lewis


Carol has been an Arizona resident since 1985. She is the co-owner of a Construction Company and Mini Storage facility. Her education is in Business and Speech Communications. She became a Realtor in 1986 and a Broker in 2001 and was Chair and Co-Chair of the Arizona Association of REALTORS Grievance Committee for six years. Carol is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and is a Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS). In addition to these designations she was a Real Estate Instructor and has been a Coach and Mentor for the last 22 years. She has received several Top Producer Awards during her career, a Bronze Award Winner with SEVRAR and a Builder Recognition Award.
Sharon Venable

Sharon Venable


Her career in the Real Estate Field started in 1975 when she and a partner started a Development Company that bought bankrupt unfinished professional centers in Northern California and finished them and sold them. In 1980, she worked as a commercial realtor in Silicon Valley. She moved to Napa Valley California and owned a Real Estate Company that specialized in vacation and retirement homes. She then moved to San Jose California and worked as a sales trainer for General Electric.
Her new career in Arizona started with New Home Concepts and continued with them until 2000. In 2000 Sharon joined 1st USA Realty Professionals, Inc. With her knowledge, experience, and success she joined 1st USA Realty Professionals Agent Academy. She
became a coach in 2005 and shared her knowledge with many new agents starting in the Real Estate World. She joined DPR, LLC in 2009 as a coach with Agent Academy.
