I completed Real Estate School and received my license in March 2018.  Although they teach you the basic rules and law of real estate transactions, they don’t provide any real guidance on what to do once you get your license.  I knew in order to succeed I needed to find an agency that offered more than just online podcasts for training and support from other experienced agents.  A family friend referred me to two agencies, one of which was DPR.  After talking to Mari over the phone and watching the introduction video for the Career Agent Academy, I knew right away the Career Agent Academy was where I needed to be.

I joined the Career Agent Division in April 2018. I just can’t say enough about all of the level of training and support you receive in the Academy.  From the very beginning you are assigned a mentor to help you start your career on the right path. You receive one on one training on how to start up your business, preparing CMA’s, buyer and seller consultations, and even how to hold an open house.  Who knew there were specific techniques to holding an open house?  In addition to your one on one training, the Career Agent Division holds numerous classes throughout the month for all the agents in the Academy.  Although the information in these classes is excellent, the comradery and friendships you develop with the other agents is invaluable.  Hearing stories from other agents about not only their successes, but also their struggles really keeps you motivated.  

From the very first time I met her, Mariesa was so warm and welcoming, she made me feel like part of the family as soon as I joined.  She is full of energy, and full of motivation, but most of all, you can tell she truly does care about each agent as an individual.  My mentor Brian was always there for me when I needed help with contracts or just had general questions.  He never made me feel like I was bothering him when I called, no matter what time of the day it was.  Although Mari isn’t a mentor, I don’t think any of us in the Academy could get through the day without her.  She is helpful, positive, and has a wealth of knowledge.  I know without a doubt that I would not have been as successful as a new agent without the training, guidance, and resources the Career Agent Academy offers.  I recommend it to not only new agents starting out, but also to agents that are struggling in their careers that may need a little extra training and support to take their career to the next level.  Valerie M

Meet the Coaches

Mariesa Q Arthur, PLLC

Mariesa started out in Real Estate over twenty-three years ago with a focus on residential sales. Starting the business as a single mom, she faced many, if not more, of the challenges and obstacles that the new and veteran real estate agents face today.

Generous with the knowledge she has acquired, Mariesa wanted to share what she had learned over the years with new and veteran agents. She joined a large Valley real estate firm’s Mentor Program, as a Mentor to the new agents just starting out in Real Estate. She quickly realized that in order to provide her growing group of agents with the level of support that they needed, that mentoring would be a career choice requiring 100% of her time and attention. From that point she created an extensive training curriculum to provide a clear path to success in both listing and sales of residential properties.

In September of 2002, seeing the success of the program Mariesa had created, she was hired to head up and implement a structured training program as the Director of what’s now called the Career Agent Division. Her role as the Director is to recruit, inspire, train, to manage new agents, veteran team members, along with the team of Field Coaches and her support staff. Her goal with the Career Agent Division is to provide a productive, supportive environment to help agents develop at a rapid pace and to help them experience success.

 Mariesa joined DPR Realty in January of 2009, bringing the Career Agent Division with her.

Over the years well over 700 agents have come through the Career Agent Division. Mariesa takes pride in saying, “For me, there’s nothing more rewarding and gratifying than to know that I made an impact in an agent’s successful career in Real Estate. I like to refer to our program as The Roadmap to Success!”

Tiffany Jones

Tiffany Jones brings experience closing transactions with buyers, sellers in diverse market conditions as an Associate Broker. Tiffany is also a New Agent Mentor with DPR Realty’s Career Agent Division and assists new agents as they navigate their new careers in Real Estate. Tiffany believes in keeping current with market trends. She also believes that continued education is imperative in today’s real estate market and has attained many designations including GRI, CIPS and is able to assist Foreign National Buyers and Sellers through the real estate process and is a part of an International Network to assist buyers looking to invest in real estate abroad. Clients who work with Tiffany benefit from her expertise as an ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). Tiffany has also dedicated her education to working with our Military both Veterans and Active Military and has attained her MRP (Military Relocation Program).
Sharon Venable

Sharon Venable

Her career in the Real Estate Field started in 1975 when she and a partner started a Development Company that bought bankrupt unfinished professional centers in Northern California and finished them and sold them. In 1980, she worked as a commercial realtor in Silicon Valley. She moved to Napa Valley California and owned a Real Estate Company that specialized in vacation and retirement homes. She then moved to San Jose California and worked as a sales trainer for General Electric.
Her new career in Arizona started with New Home Concepts and continued with them until 2000. In 2000 Sharon joined 1st USA Realty Professionals, Inc. With her knowledge, experience, and success she joined 1st USA Realty Professionals Agent Academy. She
became a coach in 2005 and shared her knowledge with many new agents starting in the Real Estate World. She joined DPR, LLC in 2009 as a coach with Agent Academy.
Paul Newcomb

Paul Newcomb

Prior to becoming a top producer among DPR Realty’s agents, Paul spent 20+ years in home building / construction management in various positions such as Construction Superintendent, Construction Systems Manager, Estimator and Purchasing Director. These experiences allow Paul to provide a unique perspective to his clients whether they are buyers or sellers. He has been a full time REALTOR® since 2008. He also serves as a Mentor/Coach to new agents within DPR Realty’s Career Agent Division, helping them develop their own successful careers. Paul is married with 6 children and one extremely handsome grandchild. Experience, knowledge, integrity, 3 traits you expect and demand from your real estate professional.
Brian Fiske

Brian Fiske

Brian was born and raised in Canada and relocated to Arizona in 1993. After spending many years as a commercial photographer he made a career move to real estate in 2004. Since then Brian has specialized in residential real estate helping both buyers and sellers with their biggest investment. He strive to deliver the best customer service to his clients.

Constant communication, tireless work effort, excellent knowledge of the industry, and strict ethical standards are just a few things you can expect from him. It’s extremely important to him to build a relationship that lasts long after the transaction. Most of his clients come to him by referrals from past clients.

In 2015 Brian joined the coaching staff at Career Agent Division where he brings the same knowledge & ethical standards to his coaching.

Ivonne Bellew

Ivonne Bellew

Coach

Ivonne Bellew was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1993. Since arriving, Ivonne worked extremely hard and built the American Dream for her and her family.  In 2009, she become a full time real estate agent.  At the beginning of the “Great Recession,” Ivonne’s passion for the Real Estate industry led her to sell more homes than the average agent. She has the knowledge, understanding and desire to help her clients through every stage of purchasing or selling a home.  She will be with you through the home buying process and for years to come. Currently she is also a mentor to new agents that are driven to success.

Ivonne and her husband have 3 children. She is a volunteer at Deer Valley Unified School District since 2010.  In 2013, she become business partner with the school district and in May 2014 was recognized for her outstanding contributions by the Deer Valley Unified School Board.  She is active in her church supporting the children and foster ministry
